Hello, I'm Kyle Redman. I'm a researcher and practitioner of deliberative democracy. I'm the Democracy Lead at the AI & Democracy Foundation and a Program Manager at the Federation for Innovation in Democracy – Europe. Previously, I was the Research and Design Director at The newDemocracy Foundation in Australia. I am currently based in Brussels.
I work on improving the quality and quantity of new, fairer and more effective democratic processes such as citizen's assemblies. I have extensive practical experience, designing and managing over 30 forms of assemblies in Australia and abroad. I collaborate with researchers to reveal ways of improving these practices. I also coordinate the building and testing of new tools for deliberation (if you're interested).
